Have we ever mentioned that we LOVE babies?! We simply cannot get enough of them.

Audra and I are so blessed with the families that we have. Audra has four children, and I have three. We each "just knew" when our families felt complete and we knew we were ready to enjoy the next stage of family life. So...we know that we are done having babies...but, let me tell you, that's not a cure for baby fever!

We miss the cuddles, the baby smell that is addictive, the SOFT skin and hair. I could go on here for a while...
Luckily for us we can still get our baby fix through photo sessions! At 12th Street Portraits we do all kinds of photo sessions: Family beach photos, Senior sessions, Maternity sessions, Weddings, Vow Renewals, newborn and baby photo sessions and more. We even do some photography that is not on the beach. (Although we do miss the sand between our toes!)

Audra and I have been blessed with wonderful children. They changed our lives forever. Live is more fun, sweet, adventurous...more everything now that we have our sweet babies. Being moms has made us better people and photographers.
That's why when we meet a family with a new baby we are brimming with happiness for them. Life will never be the same. It only gets better from here, baby!

This lump of sugar came for a family photo session with his mom and dad during their vacation. His mom wanted to cover the walls of their home with Corolla baby photos. 30 minutes flew by, of course. We got so many great shots but I could have gone on for hours.
Babies are so funny to photograph. You never know what face they're going to give next! The performer in me, who will do anything to get a smile, basically turns into a dancing monkey with symbols! It's my best self and so fun.
This baby boy has adoring parents. Their love is so sweet to watch and easy to relate to when you've been there. I'm so happy that they have their sweet family. I hope they come back to us so we can see how little man grows!
