We interrupt this VERY beachy blog feed for... OBX Prom! One thing is for sure, these local Outer Banks kids sure are beautiful! My oldest son graduates this year and she was lucky enough to shoot his senior prom photos. These young people were so elegant and have suddenly turned into young adults. When you live in a tiny beach town, you have the unique privilege of being close to your children's friends and I swear we were all parks and rec basketball games watching them try to tie their shoes in the middle of the court or running a carpool with these kids just a few *weeks* ago! It sounds cliche, but it really holds true, time truly moves so quickly!
If you're familiar with John B and the Netflix show, Outer Banks... scratch that! I'd like to introduce you to our favorite kook-pogue combo kids! We love them all so very much!

We shot these photos on the Duck Town green in the late afternoon. Before we know it, this green space will be covered with lawn chairs and blankets for the Jazz Festival or an outdoor movie night because our busy tourism season is really picking up! I'll be holding onto the last few months with my beautiful son before he leaves for college... extra tightly! -Audra
