Senior portraits are always one of my favorite sessions to photograph but capturing senior portraits of a kid that I’ve admired for years is even better! Colin is a senior this year here on the Outer Banks and before my own son graduated he shared the soccer field with Colin and his brother Wes. Our local high school soccer team has a unique brotherhood and sharing the sidelines with the other moms as we cheered on our boys is such a highlight af my life. Colin and I met up in Kitty Hawk just before playoff season for his senior photos and while that feels like it was just yesterday, Colin recently committed to continue his soccer career at a reputable North Carolina school! As my own son wraps up his junior year in college, I can still remember how quickly that senior year of high school goes, especially as a parent.
